Right on the edge of downtown Austin and protected as an historic district, Clarksville real estate is almost exclusively residential. Clarksville is a smaller neighborhood within Old West Austin though some people consider the two place names to be synonymous. The nieghborhood boundaries are generally considered to be north of Lady Bird Lake, East of MoPac and west of Lamar.

Clarksville is currently an extremely trendy Austin neighborhood.
